Back to Updates

01 What changed this round
  • Plastic Ivy, Dewsbury: Standard entry up by £1. Their other tiers (Early Bird, Evening, Concessions, Lifetime, Loyalty Voucher) stayed put.
  • Club Zeus, Mansfield: Pricing tiers tightened up. Their three-tier Guest / Legacy Basic / Hades-Poseidon-Zeus model is unchanged in shape, but a couple of the row figures moved.
  • Just For You, Birmingham: Updates picked up earlier in the fortnight — re-checked again at the end of the round and stable since. Address still 40 Summer Hill Road; events (Camp & Fun, Lights Out) confirmed against their site.
  • Nero’s Sauna, Bury: Pricing nudged early in the fortnight (Standard £15, evening £10 from 4pm, Biphoria Thursdays £15/£25, multi-day passes £30/£35, monthly £110, annual membership £10). All re-confirmed against their site by the end of the round.
  • Sauna Sauna, Northwich: Events page rebuilt itself mid-fortnight. Full live calendar now extracts cleanly (Cumunion, T-Girls, Traffic Light, Late Night Cruise, Funday Sunday, Naked Tuesday, Fetish, Sunday Roasting, Bionic, Jock Fest). A pre-bookable VIP cabin route also surfaced — we’re holding that one back until we’ve confirmed it directly with the venue.
  • The Locker Room, Kennington (London): Schedule slots re-aligned. Six event slots on their site now map cleanly to the five rolodex rows.
  • Sweatbox, Soho (London): Massage prices updated (£50 / £70 / £90). Pass scheme (24hr / 48hr / Weekly / Monthly / Annual / U25 / BLC), Posh Cabins (£5/hr or £30/8hr), 24/7 opening, card-only and 8hr-max-stay policies all unchanged.
  • Gentry Spa, Hull: A welcome recovery. Their domain went down to a parking page mid-fortnight; by the end of the round it had been moved to a WordPress mirror and the venue’s content was readable again. We’ve updated the website URL on the listing accordingly.
02 The one we couldn’t reach

Sailors Sauna, London hit an SSL certificate problem mid-fortnight and the site has been throwing a privacy error to every browser ever since. Two consecutive batches couldn’t reach it. Their listing data is left untouched on the site until we can re-check, and we’ve flagged it on our end for direct follow-up with the venue.

03 Two with no website on file

Spartan Health Club, Birmingham and Pennine Sauna, Shaw currently have no working external website to cross-check against. Both venues are open and trading. We stamp them as verified-on-our-records and note the gap so visitors know — if you spot either of them launching a new website, drop us a line and we’ll add it in.

04 Why we do this

A sauna directory is only useful if the listings are actually up to date. Saunas change their hours, raise their prices, retire events and add new ones — quietly, without anyone telling us. Periodic full-network sweeps are the only way to catch those changes before a visitor turns up to a closed door or an unexpected price. Every listing on the site now carries a “Verified on” stamp at the bottom of the page so you can see, at a glance, the last time we re-checked it against the operator’s own source.

Next sweep starts whenever the rolodex is ready for another lap. See you on the other side of it.
