Club Zeus – Mansfield

ClubZeus Mansfield is a gay and bisexual men’s sauna at 71 Ratcliffe Gate in Mansfield town centre, Nottinghamshire. Originally opened as Zeus in 1997 and previously known as Manzfieldz and Metro Sauna, it’s now owner-operated and spread across multiple floors — with a dry sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, licensed bar, private cabins, and play areas. The venue is open seven days a week and works on a membership basis. Basic lifetime membership is free and can be set up on arrival. Entry is 18+ with a Challenge 25 policy — valid photo ID is required. Cash and card accepted.

ClubZeus is the only dedicated gay sauna in Nottinghamshire — and the closest option for men across a wide stretch of the East Midlands. There’s no gay sauna in Nottingham city centre, which means ClubZeus on Ratcliffe Gate in Mansfield town centre picks up that demand directly. Nottingham itself is around 25 minutes by car, and searches for a gay sauna in Nottingham consistently point here.

Beyond the city, the venue draws regular visitors from Chesterfield (about 20 minutes), Derby (around 40 minutes), and Lincoln (roughly 45 minutes), covering Derbyshire and Lincolnshire as well as its home county. Mansfield’s position just off the A38 and A617 keeps it accessible by car from most directions, and Mansfield station offers a direct Robin Hood Line rail connection from Nottingham in about 35 minutes. For men searching for a gay sauna in the East Midlands, ClubZeus is the established regional option — and its town-centre location with straightforward road access is a practical draw for visitors who prefer to avoid the congestion and parking costs of a major city.

Reviews

ClubZeus Mansfield has built a reputation as a friendly, unpretentious sauna that appeals to men who want a straightforward experience without the intensity of larger city venues. It draws visitors from across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and the wider East Midlands.

Staff are frequently mentioned as welcoming and approachable. First-time visitors are offered a walkthrough of the venue on arrival, and the owner-operated setup means there’s a consistency to how the place is run that regulars value.

The venue has a loyal local following and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. Visitors describe a mixed crowd in terms of age and body type, with a lack of attitude that makes it accessible for newcomers.

The core wet facilities — sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi — are noted as clean and well-maintained. The bar is regularly mentioned as a genuine social space rather than an afterthought.

The Friday and Saturday night events, particularly CumCoded and CumUnion sessions, draw the biggest and most active crowds. These are consistently cited as the best times to visit for atmosphere and numbers.
