  • New first-timer sections were added to venue pages, covering how to find the entrance, what to expect at reception, and payment methods.
  • Review summaries were refreshed from Google, TripAdvisor and other sources, and over 10,000 lines of legacy code were removed.
  • Status changes: Redruth Sauna Cornwall has permanently closed (Cornwall now has no gay sauna); The Chapel Sauna Hull remains closed since November 2025.

That’s all 40 venues across the UK — new titles, new descriptions, updated opening hours, refreshed pricing, rewritten about sections, and expanded event listings where applicable. Every page has been researched against each venue’s official website for accuracy.

Examples of the updated pages include Sweatbox Soho London with full event listings and Under-25s free entry details, Steamer Quay Torquay with new themed event nights and on-site accommodation info, Dolphin Sauna New Brighton with corrected event information, Boiler Room Hove with Naked Days, Cumunion nights, and updated pricing from £5, and Pennine Sauna Shaw — over 40 years established, with updated hours and the only sauna in the directory with home-cooked food.

02 First-timer sections added to venue pages

If you’ve never visited a particular sauna before, look for the new section with practical tips specific to that venue — how to find the entrance, what to expect at reception, payment methods, and anything else worth knowing before you walk through the door.

03 Review summaries refreshed

We’ve pulled in the latest reviews from Google, TripAdvisor, and other sources to give you a quick snapshot of what visitors are saying about each venue.

04 Database cleanup

Over 10,000 lines of legacy code removed from behind the scenes, making the site faster and cleaner for everyone.
