Cleanliness is one of the most frequently mentioned positives. Visitors regularly describe the venue as well-kept and clearly cared for, noting clean facilities throughout.
The staff receive consistent praise for being friendly and approachable. Several visitors describe the atmosphere as more relaxed and welcoming than larger city-centre alternatives, with an easygoing, sociable crowd.

About
Boiler Room – Hove
The Boiler Room is a men-only gay sauna (including trans men) at 84–86 Denmark Villas, Hove, East Sussex (BN3 3TJ), one minute’s walk from Hove railway station. Run by the same team as The Boiler Room Sheffield, it’s open seven days a week with Naked Days three times a week and Friday night party sessions running until 2am. The venue has a sauna, steam room, large jacuzzi, licensed bar, private cabins, dark-play areas, a two-tier cinema, and an enclosed smoking yard.
Entry starts from £5 during evening hours, with a flat £5 rate for under-25s at all times (except party nights). The venue is entirely cashless — card payments only.
Although the address says Hove, The Boiler Room sits right on the Brighton and Hove border — one minute from Hove station and a short bus ride from the centre of Brighton itself. It’s a practical choice for men across East and West Sussex, with visitors making the trip from Worthing (about 20 minutes by car), Crawley (around 35 minutes), Eastbourne (roughly 40 minutes), and Lewes (about 20 minutes).
The venue’s Denmark Villas location is quieter and more residential than central Brighton, which suits visitors who prefer a discreet, low-key arrival. For anyone looking for a gay sauna in Brighton, Hove, or the wider Sussex area, The Boiler Room is well within reach — and Hove station’s direct rail links to London Victoria and Gatwick Airport mean it draws a regular crowd from further afield too.
