About
E15 Club – Stratford, London
E15 Club is a gay sauna at 6 Leytonstone Road in Stratford, East London (E15 1SE), widely known as one of the friendliest and most relaxed venues in the capital. Spread across three floors — spa and social on the ground floor, private rest rooms upstairs, and a cruising zone in the basement — the venue offers a dry sauna, steam room, infra-red sauna, café, and a rare outdoor garden. Open six days a week (closed Thursdays), with standard entry at £19.50 and Happy Hour from £10. Entry is strictly over 21 only. Maryland station on the Elizabeth line is a two-minute walk away; Stratford station is roughly twelve minutes on foot.
Stratford’s position at the junction of the Central line, Jubilee line, DLR, and London Overground gives E15 Club a catchment that stretches across a huge swathe of East London and beyond. Men travel from Leytonstone, Leyton, Walthamstow, Hackney, Bow, and Ilford — all within 10 to 15 minutes by train or bus. The venue also picks up visitors from further out along the Central line corridor: Romford, Brentwood, and even Southend-bound commuters who change at Stratford.
For anyone searching for a gay sauna in Stratford, East London, or near Leytonstone, E15 Club on Leytonstone Road is the local option — a neighbourhood venue with a pace and personality quite different from the bigger operations in Central and South London. The proximity to Westfield Stratford City and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park also means the venue is easy to combine with other plans in the area.
What's inside
Facilities
Ground Floor: Spa and Social
The ground floor centres on a large traditional dry sauna, a steam room, and an infra-red sauna — the infra-red option is unusual for a London gay sauna and offers a gentler, lower-temperature alternative. High-pressure power showers are available nearby. A café and snack bar serves hot and cold drinks and light food (hot food is currently unavailable due to a reduced menu). A TV lounge with leather seating provides a relaxed social space, and an outdoor garden — rare for any London sauna — is available for fresh air and smoking.
First Floor: Private Rest Rooms
The first floor has private rest rooms, each with a lockable door, and a seated video lounge. This level is designed for quiet downtime away from the busier ground floor.
Basement: Cruising Zone
The basement has a large video lounge with atmospheric lighting, massage tables, beds, and dedicated cruising areas.

Your First Visit
E15 Club is over-21 only — bring a valid physical photo ID (driving licence, passport, or Freedom Pass). Photos of ID on a mobile phone are not accepted. This age requirement is higher than most UK gay saunas, which typically operate at 18+.
On arrival, you’ll get a locker key and towel. Staff are happy to give you a tour of the three-floor layout — take them up on it. The ground floor (sauna, steam, café, garden) is bright and social; the first floor (rest rooms, video lounge) is quieter; the basement (cruising areas) is darker and more atmospheric. The café serves drinks and snacks but hot food is currently unavailable.
If you want to test the venue at a lower cost, arriving during Happy Hour (the final two hours before closing, except Wednesdays) drops entry to £10. Wednesdays are £15 all day.

From Waterloo, take the Jubilee line to Stratford. From King’s Cross/St Pancras, the quickest route is the Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City line to Liverpool Street, then the Elizabeth line to Maryland.
What visitors say
Reviews
E15 Club has built a loyal following as Stratford’s neighbourhood gay sauna, with visitors consistently highlighting the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the inclusive, no-attitude environment.
The front-desk team is the most frequently praised feature. First-time visitors regularly mention being offered a tour on arrival, and regulars note that staff remember them by name. The welcoming approach sets a comfortable tone from the moment you walk in.
The relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere is E15’s defining characteristic. Visitors describe it as a venue where you can turn up on your own and feel at ease — a calmer alternative to the bigger, higher-intensity saunas in central London. Long-term regulars, some visiting for over fifteen years, describe it as a reliable, familiar spot.
The clientele is frequently described as a diverse mix of ages, body types, and backgrounds. The venue has a reputation as a comfortable and welcoming place for older visitors in particular, though younger first-timers also report positive experiences.
The Happy Hour rate (£10 in the final two hours before closing) and the loyalty card (10th visit free) are regularly cited as good value compared with central London alternatives.
