About
Splash Spa – Leicester
Splash Spa is Leicester’s only gay sauna, at 61 Bedford Street South in Leicester city centre. Spanning 6,000 square feet across two floors, it has a sauna, steam room, 15-person jacuzzi, licensed café bar, private cabins, playrooms, cinema room, darkroom, glory holes, and a dungeon with sling and bondage cross. The venue is open seven days a week, with No Towel Tuesday as its busiest regular session and monthly events including CumFest and Fur Fest Bears Day. No membership required. Entry is £15. The venue accepts card, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and cash. Free condoms, lube, towels, and flip-flops are provided.
Splash Spa is the only gay sauna in Leicester and the only one in Leicestershire. For men across the East Midlands searching for a gay sauna in Leicester or a gay sauna near Leicester, this is the sole dedicated venue in the region. Leicester’s central position in the Midlands makes the city reachable from a wide area: Loughborough is about 20 minutes north, Nottingham and Derby are each around 30 minutes up the M1 or A6, Coventry roughly 25 minutes via the M69, and Northampton about 40 minutes south on the A14. Rugby, Hinckley, and Market Harborough are all within half an hour.
The venue sits on Bedford Street South, just inside the inner ring road on the north side of the city centre. Several car parks are within a two-minute walk, and Leicester station — on the Midland Main Line with fast services from London St Pancras, Nottingham, and Sheffield — is a short walk south across the ring road. For men in the East Midlands without a convenient gay sauna on their doorstep, Splash Spa is where the catchment area converges.

Your First Visit
No membership or pre-booking needed — just turn up. Entry is £15 and includes a towel, flip-flops, free condoms, and lube. The venue is 18+ and may ask for photo ID on arrival. Card, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and cash are all accepted.
On arrival, let staff know it’s your first time and they’ll walk you through the two-floor layout. The café bar on the ground floor is a good place to settle in before exploring further. Most days are towels-optional, so you can wear a towel or go without — your choice. If it’s a Tuesday, it’s No Towel day and the towel stays in the locker.
For a quieter first visit, try a weekday morning or early afternoon. No Towel Tuesdays are the busiest sessions. The monthly Fur Fest Bears Day (second Saturday) is a welcoming, social event with a free buffet — good for newcomers who want a friendly crowd.
