Gay saunas in the East of England
One venue in Luton. Greenhouse Sauna is the East of England’s only gay sauna, verified with current prices, hours, and facilities.
Greenhouse Sauna on Crawley Road (LU1) is the only gay sauna in the East of England. It is a multi-floor venue with a caved 20-man jacuzzi, Turkish steam room, dry sauna, private cabins, and a cafe-bar — open seven days a week with late-night sessions until 4am on Fridays and 6am on Saturdays.
Luton station is a five-minute walk away, with direct Thameslink services from London St Pancras in around 22 minutes. The M1 (Junction 10) is a few minutes away by car.
Greenhouse Sauna runs themed sessions on most days of the week. Bi-Tastic Tuesday is a dedicated session for bisexual men and admirers. Naked Wednesday is a towel-free naturist day with a free buffet from 21:00. Twisted Thursday is a wear-what-you-want night popular with the TV/CD community.
Bears Night runs on the last Sunday of each month with a free buffet from 15:00. Check the venue’s website or call 01582 487701 for the current schedule.
Greenhouse Sauna serves a wide area with no nearby alternative. Bedford is around 30 minutes north by car, Stevenage and Hitchin in Hertfordshire are within 20 to 30 minutes, and Milton Keynes is about 35 minutes up the M1.
The nearest alternative venues are in London — Sweatbox Soho, Pleasuredrome, and Covent Garden Health Spa are all around 28–29 miles away. For those travelling from the north of the region, the East Midlands has venues in Nottingham and Leicester.
