01 A successor at a different address
Yumbo Birmingham is now in our directory at 1–4 Hockley Hill. GayCities’ August reporting describes a 14 August 2026 relaunch by the former Just For You team at larger, different premises. We attribute that history to the report; it is not independent verification of legal ownership.
The Just For You historical listing remains available for people searching for the former Summer Hill venue. For a current visit, use the Yumbo listing and the Hockley Hill address—not the old location.
02 The bar and sauna have different entry arrangements
The official website distinguishes an inclusive LGBTQ+ bar from the upstairs men’s gay and bisexual sauna. Bar walk-ins do not need membership. Sauna day entry is advertised at £15 plus a one-time £5 signup fee.
An optional Platinum pass is advertised at £90 for one month, without automatic renewal. The published information does not establish whether the £5 signup fee also applies separately to Platinum, so confirm that before buying. Bar entry should not be confused with sauna access.
The website describes a steam room, dry sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge, changing and shower facilities, a massage bed and Platinum private rooms. A massage bed is not confirmation of a professional massage service.
03 Weekly sessions
The regular programme lists New to the Scene in the bar on Tuesdays at noon, Yumbo Social in the bar on Thursdays at 6pm, and LET IT LOOSE naked day in the sauna on Sundays at noon. The two bar sessions are advertised as free; the Sunday sauna session is £15.

04 Check closing time before travelling
The official Yumbo website, checked on 8 September 2026, says daily from noon until late. That does not establish an exact closing or last-entry time, so our listing asks visitors to contact the venue rather than displaying a guessed Open now status.
Use the front bar entrance; the operator asks visitors seeking discreet entry to contact it in advance. Step-free access, towel and locker inclusion, and general ID requirements remain unconfirmed.
